Distinction Evidence: Get Involved
Yesterday, after school the 8 students involved in Cantamaths went straight to Horncastle Arena. There were about 80 teams (320 competitors) there. It was louder than I thought. We only got to answer 3/4 of the questions. But we got 55 points and placed about 10th. Heaton won both Year 7 and 8 competition. I think that we did a very good job. The Year 8's didn't do too well and they scored 15 points. The best part was getting about 5 questions in a row without getting any wrong. I enjoyed the experience and I know what we need to do next year.
